The Lord of the Rings: “The Fellowship of the Ring”
In The Fellowship of the Ring, the first book of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy, young hobbit Frodo Baggins inherits the One Ring, a powerful artifact created by the Dark Lord Sauron to control Middle-earth. Guided by the wizard Gandalf, Frodo embarks on a perilous journey to destroy the Ring in the fires of Mount Doom. He is joined by a fellowship of nine members, including Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Boromir, and his fellow hobbits Sam, Merry, and Pippin. Together, they face various dangers, but the fellowship ultimately breaks, and Frodo continues the quest with Sam.
